Good news for students from outside the EU/EEA: Tuition fees at Rudolf Steiner University College have been reduced substantially.
In 2023, Norwegian legislation made tuition fees mandatory for international students from outside the EU/EEA. Accordingly, these fees were increased to ca. 60 000 NOK per term for part-time programmes and 90 000 NOK for full-time programmes.
This summer the Norwegian government adjusted the regulations introduced in 2023, meaning that the institutions themselves are now able to set their own prices.
We have therefore reduced the international tuition fee for the academic year 2026-2027 to approximately 30 000 NOK per term for part-time programmes and 45 000 NOK for full-time programmes. The fees are still higher for international students from outside the EU/EEA, but the substantial reduction will enable more people to enrol in courses at RSUC.
Students can still apply for exemption from the international tuition fee if they are entitled to receiving loans and grants from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund.
Admission is still open for programmes with available places. The change in fees may particularly affect those interested in the international Master Programme in Waldorf Education, which commences this October.
